Dr Jennifer Dick

Jenn is a biological engineer with over 15 years of experience in project management and leadership spanning the not-for-profit, sporting events, healthcare and academic sectors. After earning her bachelor’s degree specialising in Molecular Biology and Genetics at the University of Guelph (Canada), Jenn began her career in the not-for-profit sector with the YMCAs of Cambridge & Kitchener-Waterloo, where she actively coordinated and delivered community outreach projects as well as staff and volunteer training and development courses. Jenn then transitioned into events management with Chip Time Results and the Running Room, handling the planning, organising, promotion and execution of athletic events. After earning her master’s degree in Biological Law and Ethics and PhD in Chemical and Biological Engineering from the University of Sheffield (UK), Jenn joined the Sheffield Teaching Hospitals as a clinical project consultant, regularly liaising with the research team, partner sites and sponsor organisation to provide project updates, reviews and assessment of project directives. Most recently, Jenn has been working at the University of Sheffield, managing multidisciplinary EU funded research projects to support the management, collaboration and integration across a range of stakeholders to ensure compliance with overall grant, individual partner, national and EU policies and procedures from their inception through to completion.
